Do I need the existing password to unlock a PDF?
Yes. This tool does not crack unknown passwords; it opens the document with the correct password and saves an unprotected copy.
Is permanent redaction just a black overlay?
No. Export applies PDF redaction annotations to remove underlying content, then writes an opaque black mark into the page content.
Can I redact multiple pages?
