What is the difference between burned and soft subtitles?
Burned captions become part of the picture, so every player shows them but they cannot be switched off. Soft subtitles remain separate selectable tracks whose support depends on the container and player.
Can this remove captions already visible in the picture?
No. Removal excludes independent subtitle streams only. Captions already burned into pixels require picture repair or a dedicated content reconstruction workflow.
Are ASS fonts and animation styles preserved?
Not completely. The tool reads ASS dialogue and timing, then burns it with the unified appearance selected on this page to avoid browser font and libass compatibility problems.
Are the video and subtitle file uploaded?
